Position: General Labour (Full‑Time, Permanent)

Shift: Day shift, up to 40 hours/week

  • Perform general labour tasks in a warehouse or production environment

  • Routinely lift and move items up to 23 kg (50 lb)

  • Assist with loading/unloading, materials handling, and light assembly

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Able to lift up to 23 kg consistently and perform physical work throughout the shift

  • Forklift license is required

  • Additional lifting / equipment licenses (e.g., hoist, aerial lift, pallet jack) are a strong asset

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills

  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies


📅 Schedule & Employment Details

  • Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

  • Hours: Up to 40 hrs/week on day shift (exact schedule to be discussed during interview)

Note: The selected candidate will undergo a minimum of one week of hands-on training at Hamilton, where they will receive practical instruction on operating essential equipment including forklifts, hoists, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks. This training is designed to ensure safety, confidence, and competence in handling materials and machinery in a warehouse environment. Upon successful completion of the training program, the candidate will be permanently relocated to our Vaughan location to begin full-time duties as a valued member of the Unity Recruitments Inc. team.

Key Responsibilities

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Polisher Worker to join our team at Unity Recruitments Inc.. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various metal fabrication tools and equipment to produce high-quality metal products.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain metalworking machinery such as milling machines, lathes, and CNC machines
- Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate metal parts
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Utilize hand tools for cutting, bending, and shaping, Polishing Metal
- Conduct machining processes including laser cutting and milling
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Skills
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience in fabricating metal parts using various techniques
- Knowledge of machining processes and equipment
- Competency in quality inspection procedures
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in metalworking
